Ground Floor

This is a 3D render I put together from a housing project that's currently being constructed. The idea is to use the models to try and sell the finished homes whilst they're being built so that people are ready to move in right away, talk about efficiency!

These were a bit different to the kind of thing I usually do and they were a lot of fun to work on (do they still count as illustration?) Many thanks to all the architect room mates I've lived with over the years, all those ours spent looking over your shoulders have paid off!

Phoenix Guard

Cool birdman/monk design I did a while ago for a fantasy card series.

This character was suppose to be part of the phoenix guard, which are almost a religious order I think. Anyway, I decided it would be cool to have them never touch the ground, like it was impure or something, like how some monks choose not to speak. Anyway, I decided since he was forever off the floor that he's have loads of jewellery around his feet. I like adding in little bits of my own like that. The more details I can think of, the better the design usually turns out.

Sherlock Cover One

Here’s the finished book cover mock up for book one of Mike Hogans Sherlock Holmes and Young Winston Series. Should have a few more covers from this series coming this way soon!

Sherlock Inks

My take on Sherlock Holmes and Watson, plus a very young Winston Churchill. This illustration is for the first cover in a new series of 'Sherlock Holmes and Young Wiston' books written by Mike Hogan.

Banter Christmas Card

Just stumbled across this Christmas card I made for the guys over at Banter Media to send out to their clients. I remember having a lot of fun trying to make the floor match the perspective I'd drawn Santa's sleigh at, lol.
